Anniversary concert Meesterpianisten

Imagine the following pianists on one stage: Evgeny Kissin, Arcadi Volodos, Maria João Pires, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Aldo Ciccolini, Alexander Gavrylyuk, Severin von Eckardstein, Nikolai Lugansky, Arthur Jussen, Lucas Jussen and even Alfred Brendel. It sounds unbelievable, but this is what happened on March 11, 2012 during the 25th anniversary concert of the Master Pianists series. Never before had such a large number of top pianists been gathered at a concert. That is why it was a unique opportunity for PolyCast to record this completely sold-out concert – with the presence of Queen Beatrix – in its entirety.
