What’s more fun than spending two weeks recording the best concerts in the heart of Manhattan? It was a busy but great job for our colleague Lauran Jurrius. With the help of a local team of camera operators, he was able to optimally deploy our new mobile and compact HD set.
Commissioned by the Chelsea Music Festival – with the tagline “Hear | Taste | See ” – the festival focuses on classical music and jazz, food and visual arts. We recorded eleven concerts. Artistic director Ken David Masur (indeed son of the famous director Kurt Masur) was very excited about the recordings so perhaps we should put it back on the agenda for next summer …
