Satellite connections, international lines, ten cameras, lighting, and much more: directly after the recording in Rotterdam with the Rotterdam Philharmonic and Martha Argerich we were back at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to prepare for the Concertgebouworkest Christmas Matinee concert.
On December 25th Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” was broadcast live and semi-live to twelve countries. The AVROTROS broadcast the concert live in the Netherlands.
