Does Orfeo save Eurydice from the underworld…?

Opera2Day gives a beautiful performance - 2014

This classic story from world literature has been performed in a very special way by the young opera company Opera2Day from The Hague. With the old church of The Hague as a backdrop, reference was made to the 16th century when groups from France went to The Hague to perform. Now it was the Troupe d’Orphée who came to tell and sing the story of Orfeo and Eurydice,  based on one of the finest baroque operas by the composer Charpentier. , This performance received much praise and great reviews by the press. And not unjustly.
PolyCast came with extra equipment (tower cam, long lenses, etc.) and captured this wonderful spectacle for BRAVA-TV, international broadcasts and for a later DVD release.
