First UHD/HDR recording in Salzburg

In Salzburg we made 4K-HDR recordings (High Dynamic Range, simply put, an even better image quality) for the first time for the German producer Unitel. We recorded the Vienna Philharmonic twice during the Salzburg Easter Festival.

Working in HDR presents many new challenges, also in post-production. The color correction in HDR requires a completely different approach than normal shots. And mastering to Dolby Vision, for example, is also new territory. But HDR will be more and more in demand and therefore a reason for PolyCast to stay ahead.
