Adams conducts own compositions with the Concertgebouworkest - 2015

Nixon in China, Dr. Atomic, and Short Ride in a Fast Machine are just a few titles from the great repertoire of the most important American composer of the moment: John Adams.
He was in Amsterdam in 2015 to conduct his latest work “Scheherazade 2.0”. He wrote this piece for violinist Leila Josefowicz, who was also on hand to perform this new composition with the Concertgebouw Orchestra
