The future chief conductor of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, Danielle Gatti, left an impressive calling card in the 2015-2016 season Opening Night concert of the Concertgebouw. But world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma also left a clear mark on this evening. He managed to move the audience, including the patroness of the orchestra Queen Maxima, with the beautiful cello concerto by Shostakovich.
