A unique version of the Winterreise

Of course Schubert’s Winterreise is part of the repertoire of just about every great liederen singer. But singers who accompany themselves at the piano are quite exceptional. And that is exactly what Thomas Oliemans did during the performance of this song series in the small hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Fortunately, PolyCast managed to capture the intimate atmosphere (with table lamp and all) of the concert beautifully.
